Syracuse Community Geography does not share or redistribute personal contact information or project request details with anyone unaffiliated with Syracuse Community Geography. When you complete the "Request a Project" form, you are asked to provide your name, association, email address, phone number, and a brief overview of your request. This information is necessary for the Community Geographer to contact you about your request, and for the Community Geography Steering Committee to make an informed decision as to whether to accept your project request. If your project is accepted, you will be asked to sign a Memorandum of Understanding that will address data sharing and data confidentiality. As a general rule, all reports, maps and findings of Community Geography projects will be made available to the general public. Exceptions are made when the project analyzes sensitive data or when confidentiality is necessary.
